Well, this is where I got stuck with my quilt. The sashings are pieced and I am not happy with the light/medium/dark values. I don't know which way to go. The first or the second? Or some other combination?


Or maybe this way out combination?

The 1st one sets the blocks apart so you can see each individual circle. The 2nd one seems to make a secondary pattern of a star. I like the second one.
I'm with Paula. The 1st one makes the blocks look very separate to each other whereas 2 and 3 seems to flow around and make other patterns. Very clever sashing design. Think I actually like 3 best.
Yeap, I'm with the others Helen. I love the second choice. It really lifts it up. They are gorgeous.
