I had a lovely surprise yesterday when I checked my emails. The quilt I had accepted for the NANZQ Illumination Challenge has sold at the gallery in Whangarei. I won't get the dosh until June of next year, but somehow that is secondary to the delight in knowing that someone values my work.

Thanks to all in NANZQ who work so hard to give us challenges to work towards.

Well done Helen, that's lovely news, and I like your quilt too!
Congratulations! Illumination is a great theme challenge (but I am biased :-) since I also selected this theme for the Twelve by Twelve Collaborative Art Quilt Project).
Congratulations, Helen! You deserve this success!
Congratulations!!
Design a great day,

Congrats! Great quilt
Hi Helen
I would never have picked this to come from the strip piecing in your original post.
Wow! I love it! Congrats on your selection.
