Yesterday I picked up my new replacement coffee machine, so I am all coffee-ed up at home now.
I love the name of this machine. I am nowhere near being chic in any way, shape or form. I might have been in my younger days - who knows - but those 'salad days' are long gone!! Now I quilt. Can quilting be described as chic?

Hi Helen, Thanks for visiting. Yes, we get all that nice Japanese fabric but fabric in Japan comes with the price too! And yes, don't Japanese ladies do lovely work. You sound like a very busy gal (I've just read a few of your past postings.) By the way, on your Standing up for Sewing post, do I get points for being able to sew kneeling? That's how I sewed for years with my knee pressing the foot pedal!
Why not? Think of yourself as a chic Quiltin' chick... who happens to be hooked on caffeine!
Of COURSE quilting can be chic -- or at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
isn't coffee addiction baaaad? When i found that there was no coffee left in the house for my morning cup yesterday i thought, that's ok, I'm a big girl, I can last until we go into town at 8.30... well, yes, I 'lasted' but I was absolutely monosyllabic until I finally got my fix at 10.00 am! So,yes, i'd say coffee definitely helps in the 'chicness' department.
Ohhhhh - that coffee maker looks really attractive right now. Hey, all of us CHIC CHICKS (well, old hens) need those perks.
